Gaea Solar Defence uses advanced SUNCAT-style encapsulation technology, in which UV filters are enclosed within protective, double-layered spheres. This creates larger, particle-like structures designed to help retain UV filters at the skin's surface and limit their penetration. Similar to mineral sunscreen particles in their surface distribution, the encapsulated filters are designed to remain primarily on the skin's surface, while the technology helps minimise aggregation and promotes even distribution for consistent UV protection.

Directions: Shake well before use. Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply every 4-5 hours or after swimming, sweating, or towel drying. Pair with PureForm Solar Care Soothing Gel for best radiant result.
For hydration retention: apply a layer of PureForm Solar Care Soothing Gel, allow hyaluronic acid and aloe vera in the gel to be absorbed. Follow with a layer of Gaea Solar Defence. Experience radiant, healthy skin glow after sun exposure.
For hydration replenishment : After sun exposure, skin may appear red, swollen, or dry. Apply a generous layer of PureForm Solar Care Soothing Gel to the affected areas as soon as possible. Allow the gel to absorb into the skin and let the soothing extracts calm and reduce inflammation. For the best sensation post sun exposure, pre-chill the bottle in the fridge and apply PureForm Solar Care Soothing Gel to sunburned skin to soothe and refresh.

I have been using the Gaea Solar Defence for 2 weeks now. I like the spray bottle that is very convenient to apply on the face. Unlike many other sunblock, my face is not oily after application. It also doesn't give your face a white pale look.
thank you for taking the time to share this after using Gaea Solar Defence for a couple of weeks. The non-oily feel and no white cast were actually two things we worked quite hard on when developing it.
A little behind the formula: the UV filters are micronised and encapsulated, which helps them disperse evenly on the skin while keeping the texture light without getting into the skin. We also added aloe vera and botanical extracts to keep it comfortable on the skin.
And yes, the spray! Sun protection is meant to be something we use every day, rather than another heavy layer on the face. Really nice to hear you’re enjoying it as much as we do. Please enjoy.
